A Quick Round Up - Craft Fair & New Makes
Hi it's been a while since I've updated my blog so I thought I'd do a quick catch up post. Here is my stall from the craft fair I did at Stanwick Lakes on 20th September. The craft fair is being held there once a month until Christmas and Chloe's Castle will be there in November and December.
I've had quite a few new ideas and I've also ordered some new fabrics which I will post as soon as they arrive. I've been hunting for needlecord and thicker fabrics to make some pinafore dresses ready for the colder weather. They'll look lovely with thick woolly tights and a nice long sleeved top or jumper underneath. I can't wait for the to arrive!!
These are my newest makes, lots of red coming up for those little princesses for Christmas :)
This floral dress is in a lovely Clarke and Clarke fabric, perfect for Autumn.
Above is my first pinafore dress, I can't wait to make these in the cord fabrics that are on their way.
Lastly I've been experimenting with matching headbands, mainly for the Christmas dresses, but I'm thinking of doing them to match all of the dresses I make if people would like to buy a matching accessory.
What do you think.....
Close up....
That's all for this quick round up post. Remember to visit my page for any order enquiries on Facebook here or follow us on Twitter @chloescastle

Not Too Long To Wait For The Craft Fair
<p>Today is all about preparing for the craft fair on Saturday (Stanwick Lakes 10-4) I've had lots of tips for the craft fair and one is to set up the stall at home to see what it can look like. I've also got things to price and tags to put on.
I've not posted any new items recently so here are some pictures of my latest creations. Lottie :)

A Hectic Past Few Days But That's A Good Thing!!
The past few days have been a bit crazy, I've sourced quite a bit of fabric and had a look in to attending some local craft fairs and after visiting a handmade only craft fair on Saturday at Stanwick Lakes, I've now got a stall at their craft fair on 22nd September, how exciting?! I'm thinking people (the organised ones) will be starting their Christmas shopping so I'm going to design and make some Christmas dresses. I'm also thinking of having a Chrismas package offer but need to think of some more ideas for this first!
Since posting on a supermums craft group my likes on my page on facebook have tripled so that's amazing news!! I've had some orders for some Christmas dresses and started one today - it's not quite finished but it's almost there. Just needs a bow and a hem ribbon :)

I'll post some more pictures once I've finished, it's going to have an interchangeable bow so that it can be used after Christmas too :)

First dresses...
Here are a few of the dresses I have made so far, mainly in sizes 0-3, 3-6 and 6-9 months. The first one is the one I made for my daughter Chloe for a family wedding we attended, I think the fabrics look gorgeous together :)
This week...
Saturday 11 August 2012
Starting off....
After getting bored of seeing the same old dresses in town each week I decided to put my sewing skills to some use and made some dresses for my daughter to wear. After receiving lots of positive comments about them I began making some dresses in various in fabrics I had and I also managed to source some beautiful Clarke & Clarke, Ikea and Laura Ashley fabrics to use. I've been mixing these prints with various plain cottons to create some lovely designs. The next step will be to create some fabulous party dress ready for Christmas.
I've started to make a Facebook page www.facebook.com/chloescastle I will upload some pictures of my dresses soon :)
